CALLED TO A NEW LIFE

'But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.' - 1 Corinthians 6 vs 17

Hello Highly and Esteemed of God, how are you doing at this moment? I trust that the LORD is Gracious and Kind to you and to your needs. Be changed into another form of Glory in Christ Jesus by these words which I now share with you.

Our opening scriptures tells us that he that is joined unto the LORD, in other words, any one who believes and has confessed the LORDSHIP of the LORD Jesus Christ has become one spirit with HIM. Pause a minute, do you know what that means? Do you know the implication of that statement in our lives? - Selah. Our opening scripture means so many things in the life of the Believer, but for the sake of the context of this teaching, we are looking at it as it relates to the daily living of the Believer.

Let's look at 1 Peter 3 vs 8 and 9;

8 ¶ Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. - {KING JAMES VERSION}

Now, I was meditating on this scripture, and if you notice carefully, it came from the Apostle as a commandment. Notice these words in the verse 8, be ye of. So while pondering on this, I started seeing in the SPIRIT that these are not commandments to the Believers, in other words, they are not obligations for the Believer, but rather, it is the life the Believer has been called into. - Selah. Remember, in the Book of John 13 vs 34, the LORD said, A new commandment I give unto you. But be it known unto you that HE wasn't trying to add a yoke of obedience unto us again, which yoke HE came to take away,  but instead, it was an introduction into a new and glorious life. An introduction to live the life that HE lives. What a Privilege, what a Honour! - Selah

Remember our opening scripture notifies us that we are now one spirit with HIM because we believe in HIM and have confessed HIM. That therefore means that when our spirit was merged to be one with HIS own Spirit, our life was merged with HIS life, our emotions merged with HIS emotions, our will merged with HIS will, our desires merged with HIS desires. It therefore means, inasmuch as we are in Christ Jesus, we have the mind and the life of Christ. - Selah

The LORD opened my understanding to know that all a Believer need do to see that his daily life is a reflection of the Life, Love and Righteousness of God is to realize that his life, will, emotions, desires has been merged with that of Christ. By that Revelation constantly playing in the mind of the Believer, his life will automatically take the shape of Jesus Christ. He can no longer live other-wise. - Selah

Never you find yourself at the point of trying to live righteous, trying to be loving to those around you. Never! Those efforts can never make you! Instead, let the Grace of God through this Revelation I have shared with you lead your life. Haven't you heard, They that are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God? {Romans 8 vs 14} It didn't say they make personal efforts, but they that are led by HIS Spirit. The Spirit of God only leads a man by the Revelation that is in him. Therefore, let these words find place in your heart, and the Spirit will take a hold of them and lead you by them.
