'And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.' - 1 Samuel 17 vs 35
Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD Jesus Christ, I trust that the LORD has been Gracious to your unrighteousness and short comings. In this teaching, the Spirit of God wants to unveil to you the attitude of one who is aware of the volume of Mercy and Grace he has received in Christ Jesus. Be Blessed. AMEN.
Our opening scripture is a cut out of the story of David before the king Saul when Goliath the Philistine threatened the Armies of Israel. Now David has offered to confront Goliath, and here were his reasons before the King. Let's see his complete statements reading from the
verse 34 into
35 again;
34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
Waow! David here explains how that he delivered a lamb out of the mouth of the Lion. Do you know what that means?, Do you know that that Story holds a Prophetic Revelation of GOD'S Grace and Love towards Mankind?... The lamb was already in the mouth of the Lion he says, and he delivered this precious lamb from the Lion's mouth. Selah
Remember, I told you that the purpose of this teaching is to reveal the attitude of one who is aware of the immeasurable Grace and Mercy he has received of GOD in CHRIST JESUS. Now I want you to think: Think about this lamb who had already concluded in it's heart that it was dead, suddenly received an immeasurable rescue from it's Shepherd, how do you think the relationship of this lamb would be henceforth with it's shepherd? - Selah. I tell you by the word of the LORD, this lamb will be the closest to the shepherd, and will have a special reverence for him. This is just a thought alright...?... #Just Think
Now the LORD says to you,
'that is what would happen to you when you find out that I gave you an everlasting rescue never to be taken away from you.' Glory to God. The Revelation of the Grace of GOD in CHRIST JESUS is the absolute curb to sin. The problem is that many haven't realized this Grace, hence they wallow in struggle trying to please GOD. They have not come to discover the Rest they have in CHRIST, where their failings and short comings matters not to GOD because of JESUS CHRIST. If an man finds out this Truth, instead of becoming extra-sinful as some men think, they become the closest to the LORD and their GOD, and the result of such relationship is Love, Purity, Righteousness, Temperance, Forbearance, Mercy (for others) and good fruits. - Selah
GOD has Blessed You.
