'For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.' - Hebrews 10 vs 2
Hello, peace to you in Jesus Christ Name. AMEN. This is a reminder to you of what the Gospel of Grace will do in the mind of anyone who holds fast to it. Be Refreshed.
I like the word used in our opening scripture,
conscience of sins. Our opening scripture is only informing us that the sacrifices of the old testament could not take away the conscience of sin from the people, meaning that the sacrifice of our precious LORD JESUS took away conscience of sin. Now what is conscience of sin? Conscience of sin means a mind of sin, a mind having a remembrance or knowledge of sin.
Look at this, having known that sin can never be a problem between you and GOD anymore, having known that JESUS has forever made you perfect in the presence of the Father, one who has accepted that will find out that he doesn't think in the direction of sin anymore, he has ceased to be sin cautious because come what may, he is still justified before the Father, therefore, he has completely lost memory of sin because sin has it's power. - Selah. You see? So the one thing the Gospel of Grace does in our mind is that it makes us loose the awareness or cautiousness of sin, and rather makes us Grace cautious; we are always cautious that HIS Grace is the reason why we stand, it makes us GOD cautious; we are always cautious of our Heavenly Father, and that alone regulates our lives in our affairs with GOD and man. You see? So the Blood of Jesus Christ wiped away the cautiousness of sin completely from our hearts. Hallelujah!
It's not enough to know about this Gospel, but to believe it, hold on to it, and live your life by it. There are many today who say, I am saved by Grace, yea but I gatta prove it by my good works. Oh no! They missed it. We weren't ask to prove anything, but to believe everything. Just believe the whole story, you are saved, once and forever freely! Believe that, stake your life on it. That's only when it can have positive effects in your life. Don't try to assist Grace, no! It is strong enough to build you up and to give you an inheritance among them that are sanctified.
{Acts 20 vs 32}.
God Bless You.
