THE WAY OF CAIN

'Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain...' - Jude 1 vs 11

Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD Jesus Christ. Be updated in Revelation and put in remembrance of the Grace of GOD by this short piece of words. God Bless You.

Many people have come across our opening scripture at several times, but many don't really know what it means, there are many still wanting to know that the way of cain is, and here it is. Now, if we examine the story as seen in Genesis 4, we'll see that Cain's offering to GOD was rejected, on the other hand, Abel's offering was accepted. The question is, why was the sacrifice of Cain rejected? It's simple. We will first of all know why the offering was required of them;

'It can be bright with joy if you will do what you should! But if you refuse to obey, watch out. Sin is waiting to attack you, longing to destroy you. But you can conquer it!' - Genesis 4 vs 7 {THE LIVING BIBLE TRANSLATION}

Notice what GOD said to Cain there, if you do what you should. That specifies that there was something they were asked to do, to offer, and the other part of that scripture shows us that it was an offering for sin. GOD says, If you refuse to obey, watch out because sin is waiting to attack you. You see that? God saying to him, If you refuse to obey denotes to us that cain disobeyed an instrution, and also God specifying that sin is waiting to attack you denotes to us that it was a sin offering GOD have asked them to bring of which Cain disobeyed. Now;

'And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.' - Hebrews 9 vs 22 {KJV}

You see it, so it was of uttermost importance for Blood to be shed for the offering to be accepted. But we see from the verse 3 of Genesis 4 that Cain brought unto GOD of the fruit of the ground which is now obvious to us as unacceptable.

Now, it's very vital to know the significance of the Lamb or Sheep that Abel brought unto GOD as seen in the verse 4. The Lamb that Abel brought speaks of a Substitute for him. Remember GOD told cain that if he doesn't do what was right, sin was out to attack him, so therefore, Abel's sacrifice was a substitute for him. By the killing of the Lamb, he signified that the Lamb is attacked in his place, signifying that the Lamb suffers the consequences of his sins instead of him. You see that? And the Blood of the Lamb is the seal of the covenant, is the seal of the substitution. And you know what Beloved? That's who the LORD Jesus Christ is to us who have Believed in HIS Precious Name. HE's our substitute. And the Bible didn't say He's our substitute just only when we came to HIM, no, but HE's our everlasting substitute {Hebrews 10 vs 10, Hebrews 9 vs 12}. We have received an eternal substitution by HIS Blood freely shed for us on the Cross. Hallelujah! That therefore means that the consequences of our sins can never and will never be credited to our account because they were all put on HIM on the cross once and for all times. What's the wages of sin?

'For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' - Romans 6 vs 23 {KJV}

You see? So instead of us reaping the wages of our sins which is death {Physical death and Eternal destruction in Hell}, we have received eternal substitution through Jesus Christ our LORD. So Jesus died that death for us once and for all when HE died and descended into hell and behold, HE is risen for ever more. Hallelujah!

Therefore Beloved, never can anyone who has Believed in Jesus Christ go to Hell. Jesus Christ has perfectly handled that for us. All HE wants of you is to come to the understanding of this Truth and be at Peace, loving and living out the Joy of Salvation which will definitely show forth in Good Works effortlessly. - Selah

I believe the way of Cain has been revealed to your spirit already. The way of Cain is the way of self-will. GOD prescribed what they should use for the offering, yet he chose to do what he was pleased to use, he disobeyed God prescription. That's self-will, self-Righteousness, man's ways of getting to please GOD. I believe Cain must have thought in his heart that GOD would accept his offering anyway. But GOD says no, you must yield to my prescription! And GOD is saying again in our day, 'Whosoever Believes in HIM should not perish but have the gift of Eternal Righteousness, Eternal Life.' Yet men prefer the way of Cain than the awesome Word of GOD. They wanna work it out their own way, yet GOD says it's JESUS! - Selah

God Bless You.
