IF YOUR HEART CONDEMNS YOU

'For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.' - 1 John 3 vs 20

Hello Dearly Beloved in the LORD JESUS. A Happy New Year 2017 to you. This marks the first Grace Article of this year 2017, and it's my pleasure and eternal Joy to bring to you the Word of the Grace of GOD revealed in Christ JESUS for the comfort of your souls and as many that are hurting and depressed, be Lifted!

Our opening scripture is graceful. Unfortunately it has been read severally by Believers, but the understanding has seemed to be hidden from them. So by the unction of the Holy Spirit, I wanna reveal to you the Truth embedded within that line.

Two great factors are brought to mind in that passage where we read from. One is the factor of 'Our Heart', and the second is 'GOD'. Uhmmm. It says 'if our heart condemn us'. That means it is not GOD that convicts us when we sin, but our own minds. Heart and mind are the same things scripturally. The Bible reveals in John 16 vs 8;

'And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment...' - {KJV}

And in the verse 9 and 10 HE explains;

'Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more...' - {KING JAMES VERSION}

You see that?

The word 'reprove' as used in the verse 8 is translated in the Greek as {elegcho}, and it means to convince. Hallelujah! So what is HE saying, HE is saying the Holy Spirit will convince the world (sinners) of sin, HE will convince them of their sins, HE will convince them in their conscience that they are sinners. And why is HE doing this? Well,for their good; so they can give up on their self and cling to their Saviour JESUS CHRIST! Praised be GOD forever. AMEN. This is GOD'S Earnest Desire. - Selah. Then HE went further and said that the Holy Spirit will reprove the world of Righteousness because HE (Jesus) Himself was going to Heaven where HE came from, and the disciples would see HIM no more. And I explained this to you in my previous teaching what this meant. Why was the Holy Spirit gonna be convincing them of Righteousness because JESUS was going? That tells us that while JESUS was with them, HE played that role, HE convinced them of Righteousness apart from works. Many times HE did this. At a point on a particular day, the disciples ate with their bare hands which was contrary to the Law and Tradition of the elders, and the Pharisees came on JESUS and murmured concerning the disciples. JESUS out-rightly defended the disciples, letting the Pharisees know that a man is not condemned by what goes in but by what comes out. See - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 20. You see, at several points, both recorded and not recorded, JESUS convinced HIS disciples of Righteousness apart from the works of the Law. Now this JESUS was going, then HE lets them know that the Holy Spirit who HE will send will continue from where HE stopped. Hallelujah! I like this.

So we've seen how that it's not the responsibility nor the job of the Holy Ghost to convince us of sin (our sins), but the Bible has made it known to us from our opening scripture that our own heart, our own mind is the very one who convinces/condemns us of sin (our sins). - Selah

'For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.' - 1 John 3 vs 20 - {KJV}

Now back to the beginning. It says, if our heart condemn us, GOD is greater than our heart. What does this means? 'GOD is greater than our heart'. Remember I pointed out this two factors earlier, 'Our Heart' and 'GOD'. The statement 'If our heart condemn us' tells us that our mind has a voice, because condemnation comes by words. - Selah. That must mean that GOD has a voice also. I want to show to you what the Bible means by 'GOD is greater than our heart'. This is what many Believers have not understood in this passage of the Bible. So we see another two (2) factors; The voice of the heart/mind, and the voice of GOD. The voice of the mind is the voice of condemnation, and the voice of GOD is the voice of Grace. Uhmmm you are getting it. But before we go there, I have a question: Why is it my mind condemning me? It's simple. It's because the mind knows the Law. Yes. Now note what happened in the Garden of Eden, the Bible says the moment Adam ate of the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their eyes were opened, and they knew between good and evil. {Genesis 3 vs 5, Genesis 3 vs 22}. You see? Naturally man by default knew what was good and evil after that grave disobedience. Yea. By this rule, Cain knew he had done evil by killing his brother Abel. He didn't need a Law to know that; Lamech knew he had done wrong by killing a young man. {Genesis 4 vs 23}. He didn't need a Law to know that. So why did GOD give the Law? GOD gave the Law not to make men know that they have done wrong, as man knows that by default, but GOD gave the Law so that sin could be imputed; because it's impossible to impute sin where there is no Law. - Selah. Until there is a Law that says anybody caught with unlicensed gun is a criminal, nobody will be tagged criminal for holding an unlicensed gun. You see;

'...For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.' - Romans 5 vs 13 {KJV}

You see that? Before the Law was given by Moses, men practiced sin and lived in the same, but it could not be legally imputed unto them as sin because there was no Law; hence they lived on in sin freely and GOD could do nothing more than sending fire to consume them and sending water to consume them again. But how long can HE do that? what will it change? Nothing! So HE gave the Law, so that men can come to the end of themselves when they realize they are weak and cannot keep them, and been held in that guilt of sin, they look up for a Savior who HE was to send. Hallelujah!

'Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.' - Romans 3 vs 19 {KJV}

You see that? Are you learning something? So we see the purpose for which GOD gave the Law, to make the world guilty before HIM, which makes their soul desires a Savior. Hence when the Savior is come, they will rejoice, cling to HIM, be Relieved, be Transformed, and become HIS forever. So the Holy Spirit said to me the introduction of the Law was GOD's ultimate strategy to reconcile man genuinely unto HIMSELF. - Selah

Therefore, we know that the mind naturally knows the Law of good and bad. When the mind condemns you when you do wrong, GOD wants you to know that HE is bigger than your heart (or mind). In other words, the voice of Grace, the voice of HIS Righteousness is greater than the voice of condemnation and guilt. Yes you did it. Accept it. But recognize the voice of Grace which says this to you;

'Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.' - Romans 3 vs 20 {KJV}

If GOD does not justify us based on our obedience to the Law, it means that your last sin, my last sin didn't change anything between you and GOD, between GOD and I. - Selah. What does GOD therefore justify us by? What's GOD'S Standard of Justification knowing that it is not by our obedience to the Law?

'In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.' - Jeremiah 33 vs 16 {KJV}

The LORD our Righteousness. Ooo Hallelujah! When GOD looks at us, the Righteousness HE sees is not ours, but JESUS' because the LORD is our Righteousness. Therefore we are forever HIS Beloved, we are forever accepted by GOD irrespective of our sins. Glory to GOD. This is why it is called Grace, this is why it is called Gospel (Too good to be True News).

Hallelujah. We now see from this teaching that the life of a Believer is all about JESUS. It's all about HIM, none about us; we are failing, HE is Perfection; we are sinners, HE is Righteous; we fail, HE stands; we are weak, HE is strong; we commit the offence, HE is our Righteousness! Boiiii Hallelujah! Can you join me Praise this Great GOD! Can you join me celebrate this JESUS? Ooooo Why not go ahead now and worship HIM, thanking HIM for such a Grace and Salvation, and for the Privilege to partake of this Grace. Thank GOD I was born at such a time as this. Ooooo what an assurance of Heaven, an unmovable assurance. See you in Heaven!

GOD Bless You.
