'Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours...' - 1 Corinthians 3 vs 21
Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. The Spirit of God is calling out to the Church that they may know that all things are theirs, including the forgiveness of sins.
A certain sister got into a conversation with me one time, and she made a very sensitive statement as we discussed. She said, sometimes, when she does something wrong, she keeps asking God for forgiveness of sins, and she doesn't even know when God has forgiven her.
Beloved, I realize that this is a very serious issue in the body of Christ. This very matter has pressured many into suicide. So let's see some Truths now about this matter of recognizing when one is forgiven. Okay. Our opening Bible verse tells us that all things are ours. If that is true, it must mean that all things are ours including the forgiveness of sins. - Selah. What do you think? Am I trying to form a cheap message? Or does the Bible actually say this that I am saying? Let's see Colossians 1 vs 14;
'In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins' - {KJV}
We are told here that in Christ, we have the forgiveness of sins. O! that must mean that God is not with the forgiveness we ask of Him, He doesn't have it because He already gave it to us when we came into Christ. Listen to me, the forgiveness of sins is not to be received twice. The forgiveness of sins is part of our inheritance which we received in Christ. So we receive the forgiveness of sins once, then experience it whenever necessary. That moment when you said, Father I have sinned, forgive me, you were forgiven. How? Hey, you just read it, the Believer has already received the forgiveness of his sins. So when you pray to God about your sins, pray with the consciousness of an already forgiven man, and not a man who needs forgiveness; because in Christ you got it. - Selah. When we pray to God about our sins, the only thing that matters in that conversation is the acknowledgement of the sin; if you are talking about receiving forgiveness from God afresh, then you will be seen to be like a man who is asking for what has already been given to him. And such a man gets nothing because the one whom he asks doesn't have it, being that he already gave it to him. So he is asking for what he already has. This is the dilemma that needs to be eradicated from the body of Christ. When this is done, the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ will increased rapidly amongst the members of His body (the Believers), which is you and I. Amen.
So therefore beloved, let this be the end of that pain of the feeling of not being forgiven. God already gave you what you're asking for. Recognize that today and be at Rest. I love you.
God has blessed you.
