'And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh...' - Matthew 19 vs 5
Gracious greetings beloved of God. You are highly favored of God. Be lifted! Amen.
Many have been cast into the pit of fear, because of their uncertainty about this subject. Many think they have lost their salvation, many think God has blacklisted their names for hell; you see what people are currently going through concerning this subject. So I want to show you how serious it is that God cannot send you to hell. Notice I didn't say will not but
cannot.
Our opening Bible passage was a statement uttered by the Lord himself, and that's the beauty of it because He said that with His mouth. He was addressing the issue of divorce in that passage, and He told us that a man shall leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife: and both of them which were two before will become one flesh. - Uhmmm. Now, divorce is such an absurd stuff, you know why? Imagine this, what are you separating from something that's one? Wait see this, When two people hug each other, you can separate them right? but what can you separate from a single individual person standing alone? Nothing! You can only pull out the hands, and so on, and that's destruction of the person not separation. Do you get me? So you see how stupid divorce is? Yea. See this;
'But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.' - 1 Corinthians 6 vs 17 {KJV}
The Spirit of God through the Apostle Paul informs us here that we who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ are one Spirit with Him. It's the same thing the Lord was talking about in our opening Bible passage. Before salvation, we were both different personalities, but by reason of salvation we two became one! This makes it impossible for God to send a Believer to hell. Because sending a Believer to hell is like saying Jesus is going there too. God forbid! You get it? We are now one - don't think you are an individual personality from the Lord, no! We are completely one in Spirit, we are one inseparable personality. Glory to God.
'For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.' - Ephesians 5 vs 29 - 32 {KING JAMES VERSION}
This' beautiful.
Verse 29 informs us of His love for us, and relates to us as His own flesh. You see how one we are? - Selah. Him sending you to hell is like He is sending Himself to hell. God forbid! - Selah.
Verse 30 goes ahead to confirm that to us and shows us how one we are with Him - members of even His bones. Boiiii.
Verse 31 begins to relate our relationship with Christ with that of married couples, letting us know that our relationship with Jesus is a marriage affair. - Selah. We are joined with Him, we have become one with Him, inseparable. - Selah. And
verse 32 informs us that this oneness is a great mystery. You see? So we are in all way convinced by the WORD that we are one with the Lord and never can we ever miss it so long as we keep believing and trusting the Truth. Why not go ahead and thank the Lord for this awesome and overflowing Grace... Oooo Hallelujah! Little wonder God said in
Hebrews 13 vs 5,
"...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.";
He will never divorce us - that's what He means. You see that? God has swore by Himself never to leave you. That's God talking! Believe Him. He is the perfect example of marriage.
Therefore beloved, let all your fears be gone!
Your eternity is secured.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
