DON’T LOOK INSIDE

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.’ - Hebrews 12 vs 2

Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus has sent this Word to you to the intent that He may heal you by them. Give heed to these words and be lifted. Amen.

Motivational speakers tell you that when you are distressed look inside, that in there you will find strength to overcome whatever it is you are faced with; so they say, look inside, they tell you to be strong. Wait a minute, someone that has just committed murder, what’s inside him that he’s looking at to overcome the torture he is faced with by reason of his murder? - Selah. Sometimes, motivational speeches can be funny. They say look inside, but that doesn’t make Spiritual sense. Why? when you look inside of you, what you see is the irreversibleness and the unchangeableness of your sins, error, mistakes; and that’s the source of your pain. But you know what, when you look unto Jesus, you see how righteous (by Grace) you are before God {Jeremiah 33 vs 16}, you see how perfect you are in Christ {Hebrews 10 vs 14}, you see how God is at Peace with you {Romans 5 vs 1}. Because of Jesus, you see how accepted of God you are. And you know what, when you behold Christ your righteousness, the effect of that gaze is Peace. That’s the effect it has in you.

‘And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.’ - Isaiah 32 vs 17 {KJV}

Dare to stop pondering over what you have done that’s inconsistent with the will of God. Yes you will surely find yourself thinking on them and wondering that you have done that sin or error, but dare to cease pondering on that error, now look to Christ! Behold Him who is your righteousness and be at rest. One beautiful truth about beholding Christ your righteousness is that you are declared not guilty of sin, you are justified of all sin charges laid against you in your mind and conscience. Wait a minute, if Christ is your righteousness, and Christ is the very expression and image of righteousness, how righteous are you? - Think about it

'Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.' - Romans 4 vs 8 {NIV}

  • The Lord will never count our sins against us

Glory to God! What an assurance! What a peace! This is Grace, and this is what we enjoy forevermore in Christ. Hallelujah!

Beloved, look unto Jesus today and be free.

God is with you.
