'For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.' - 1 John 3 vs 20
Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Be lifted and refreshed in your heart as you read the words of this publication. Amen.
It's important you note that every sparkling jewel hid in the mud has not lost its sparkle, neither has its identity faded. But it is at the moment clustered with filth. - Selah
This is the situation of many Believers today: as they go through diversities of challenges and difficulties, diversities of pain within and depression as it relates to sin and wrong conducts, they examine themselves within, and they don't seem to get an assurance of their Salvation. But hey beloved, just like that precious jewel covered in mud, so you are right now. That jewel hasn't lost its preciousness. All that is needed to be done to it is to cleanse it, and its sparkle will be evident. Hallelujah! Now let's see our opening Bible passage:
'For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.' - 1 John 3 vs 20 {KJV}
The Apostle by the Spirit says, if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart. Remember, God's word is His integrity! God and His word are inseparable.
'I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.' - Psalms 138 vs 2 {KJV}
God's word is His integrity! God demonstrates His integrity in His faithfulness to His word.
'...for I watch over my word to perform it.' - Jeremiah 1 vs 12 {KJV}
God's word is His integrity! We call God faithful because He fulfills His every word. Hallelujah!
Now, another thing you should know is that 'God is in His word'. Throughout the Bible, if God ever did anything, He did it by His word:
'Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.' - Hebrews 11 vs 3 {KJV}
'Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.' - Psalms 107 vs 19 - 20 {KING JAMES VERSION}
Everything God ever did for any person in the Bible, He did by His word. So we can safely rephrase our opening Bible verse thus:
'For if our heart condemn us, the WORD OF GOD is greater than our heart...'
You see that? The Word of Grace spoken concerning us is bigger than our heart - The Word of Grace spoken concerning you is bigger than your heart which hurts as a result of guilt and condemnation right now. O glory to God! This is Hope. This reveals to us that what we need when we feel condemned and don't feel our Salvation is the cleansing of the Word.
'Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word...' - Ephesians 5 vs 25 - 26 {KING JAMES VERSION}
THAT HE MIGHT CLEANSE IT WITH THE WASHING OF WATER BY THE WORD
We see evidently here that the Word of God in a man is as water that washes away dirt and filths off a surface and cleanses it.
Examining the gold coin(s), it is stained in mud, it isn't looking fanciful this way, yet its identity and value is intact and unchanged. All that is needed for its sparkle to be evident again is to cleanse it, by washing it with water. You see... Now, that is what the Word of God in a man does to the man, it cleanses every dirt of doubts, fears, uncertainty out of the man; the Word washes the man as the washing of water, and the man is cleansed. - Selah. Glory to God.
As we listen to the teaching / explanation of the Gospel, or study it for ourselves in the Bible, Truth begins to eject fear from us, the revelation of Christ and His grace begins to bring forth to the forefront our assurance of Salvation which we have in Christ, and suddenly we are helped! No pain! Depression gone! Fears expelled! Uncertainty dissolved! We come alive! Behold, we are alive full of Joy and Peace. Amen. Hallelujah! Glory to the holy name of God forevermore. Amen.
Dearly Beloved, it's the WORD you need.
With the Word of God in your heart, the pains will eventually go, the sadness will be gone, the heavy heart will be healed, and you will see your salvation in Christ clearly; you will know, feel and be certain of your Assurance of your salvation in Christ again and forever. Amen. Hallelujah!
God has blessed you.
