If you find yourself right now on your death bed, why will you want a second chance? Why would you want God to give you another opportunity to live? - Think deeply on this.
- How useful are you to God in the earth?
- Why will God want to retain you on earth?
Read carefully:
'And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.' - Luke 12 vs 16 - 21 {KING JAMES VERSION}
Pay attention to the last verse in the passage:
- So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God
Meaning, the man who is not involved in what God is doing on earth has no actual reason for continuing to live! Think on this deeply.
I tell you friends, this is one major reason why many die even though so many anointed have prayed over them for their restoration back to health and life. The Lord revealed this to me.
So I ask you, What's you reason for living? In the evil day, why would you want another chance? In the dark day when you are faced with death, why would you want the Lord to spare your life?
Is your life an advantage to God? Are you advancing His projects on earth? Are you useful to the Lord Jesus Christ right now? Why should He look at you and send an Angel to deliver you like He did for Apostle Peter?
'And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.' - Acts 12 vs 6 - 11 {KING JAMES VERSION}
- Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent His angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews
Why should the Lord do same for you? Think about this my friend.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
